A Research On Characteristics And Relationship Between Political Trustand Prosocial Behavior Of Secondary Vocational School Students

The political trust and prosocial behavior have served as a hot topic of psychology. However, the research of characteristics and relationship between political trust and prosocial behavior in China is still in progress. Based on the previous studies, this paper targeted as the secondary vocational school students, mainly focuses on the characteristics and relationship between political trust and prosocial behavior. There are some hypotheses that there are some significant differences in different genders and grades in the secondary vocational school students. There is a significant correlation between political trust and prosocial behavior. Moreover, the prosocial behavior is forecasted by their political trust.We used the literature and questionnaire method. We chose the political trust scale revision(PTS) and Carlo’s prosocial tendency measure(PTM). 1800 students were surveyed with this two scales. We analyzed the political trust and prosocial trust of secondary vocational school students from theory and demonstration. There were three parts in this article. First, we revised the political trust scale and proved its reliability and validity of the prosocial tendency measure. Second, we analyzed the statuses of their political trust and prosocial behavior in the secondary vocational school students. Last, we explored the relationship between political trust and prosocial behavior. We found some conclusions.(1) The revision of political trust scale has good reliability and validity, it can be measured the trust of secondary vocational school students. The Carlo ’ s prosocial behavior scale is a valid tool that surveys secondary vocational school students’ prosocial behavior.(2) On the system trust, the whole prosocial behavior, public prosocial behavior, anonymous prosocial behavior, compliant prosocial behavior and emergent prosocial behavior, the boys is significant higher than the girls. The students of different grades have a big difference on the public, anonymous and the whole prosocial behavior. On the interpersonal trust, system trust, whole political trust, compliant, altruistic and the whole prosocial behavior, the factor that whether they are the only children in their families causes important differences.(3) There is a significant correlation between political trust and prosocial trust in secondary vocational school students.
