The application of multimedia technology into education makes teaching have a profound change. At the same time, it has also brought some problems. Because of this, since the beginning 1960 s, experts both home and abroad and frontline teachers are constantly practicing,researching, discussing and making strategies to make multimedia better assist teaching activities, improve teaching quality. Under the detailed survey of the situation of Chinese multimedia classroom teaching, the purpose is to unearth the present situation of Chinese teachers in senior middle school of Lhasa utilizing multimedia for classroom teaching,discover the problems and do some researches, as well as give improvement strategies of applying Chinese multimedia classroom teaching, looking forward to improving Chinese teaching quality of senior middle school in Lhasa.The paper is conducted among Middle School of Lhasa, Jiangsu Experimental Middle School of Lhasa, The Second Senior High School of Lhasa with questionnaire, interviews, observations, case analysis. The research tests teachers in multimedia hardware equipment, teachers’ ideas about multimedia, technical ability of teachers, application of multimedia’s courseware. The paper also tests students in multimedia hardware equipment, students’ ideas of multimedia, questions inmultimedia teaching process, and suggestions of multimedia teaching.Moreover, the research use “Effectiveness of Multimedia Teaching Evaluating Indicator†system questionnaire to test teachers and students again, to ensure the reasonability of science and investigation date. The research results indicate that: multimedia utilized Chinese classroom is propitious to advancement of the whole teaching level, multimedia teaching equipment of The Senior High School in Lhasa is in the more advanced level overall, Chinese subject is suited to multimedia teaching overall. Teachers make use of multimedia in Chinese classroom,technique level of teachers’ operating multimedia can ensure smooth progress of Chinese classroom teaching. Most Chinese teachers select suitable teaching media neatly based on types or forms of literature,teaching goal, students’ situation, teachers’ own multimedia technology level and so on, they are very rational in using multimedia. Words and auxiliary content such as pictures, tables and video are reasonable collocation, course content and teaching content don’t have big deviation in teachers’ multimedia course, they can help students to learn text knowledge. Teachers pay attention to eyes or spirit communication to students in multimedia classroom, teacher’s leading role doesn’t change.Affection of multimedia is notable in creating scene, enriching teaching means, exciting students’ study interest, training students’ comprehensive ability, assisting students to understand texts.While multimedia brings convenience for Chinese classroom teaching, it also brings some new problems: multimedia teaching system training’s popularity rate is low in Lhasa High School, mater’s obtaining way of multimedia is in unbalance condition in school’s resource and Internet, teacher’s mastering for teaching application software is very poor, multimedia courseware are overexert, and change is much fast,teachers learn little about multimedia, the content of multimedia teaching is seldom related to teaching objective and teaching target. These problems make higher requirements for school and teachers: they should strengthen multimedia teaching training in various roads; the school may strengthen reconstruction and administration work of information date base; the teacher have to master basic operating technology of diverse teaching application software as teaching needs, and learn cut and summarize for multimedia course’s display content; the teachers pay attention to media element’s choice and collocation, doing prepare lesson’s work of multimedia. |
