Since the 20 th century, the Internet media has gradually come into millions of households and become an indispensable part of life. We human being served our daily life through the Internet, spread some needed information. At the same time, due to the characteristics of the Internet, such as strong penetrable, high virtual, high interactive as well as ungrouped and so on, Internet brought us some serious problems, especially the impact on young people that cannot to be ignored. Left behind children as a new special groups of young people, whom should be taught how to properly use the network media have draw the attention of all parties, is a new topic that should be discussed.Due the weakness of family function of children who left behind by their parents, the responsibility of their schools, their peer groups, the mass media etc. has to be engaged, Grandparenting education resulting from the absence of parents hinders the linkage between the family and rural schools; schools of the children who left behind by their parents are normally located in some uninformed countryside, teachers and teaching facilities are relatively backward, poor living conditions of children left behind leads to sensitive and vulnerable heart as well as lonely rebellious character, range of peer groups which can be intervened is relatively narrow, thus it’s not feasible for peer groups to supplement this kind of social development. Unlike other carriers, network media gradually penetrate deep into the rural areas, the Internet media gradually permeates into the countryside area where children left behind stay, it even gives the children left behind more exchange space to the society as well as more social study ways and advantageous study condition. But it comes with a series of negative impacts and problems as well, children left behind bury themselves in the network and can not extricate themselves, thus what degree their socialization is influenced, what are the specific performance of social impact, and how to overcome these negative impacts and gives the children left behind a better social environment, how to guide children left behind to get socialized by network, have attracted wide attention form various circles academics but not only from the social scholars in 90 s of last century.This thesis based on the domestic and foreign literature research, using the reference of the research, using the reference of the results of previous studies, by means of case-by-case study method, staring from the current situation of network social impact on the left-behind children, in the meanwhile, it also analyses a serious of problems and the reasons through the case of field observations and interviews, what the negative impacts did the network have on the socialization of the left-behind children, what the reasons for this negative impacts and so on, at the end of the thesis, it will give some constructive suggestion and countermeasure to the guardians, schools, social communities and government departments.
