Summary and research articles on educational games at home and abroad, The article find that the research of educational games in the direction of high school science education is very scarce.Study on middle school biology education games are even scarcer. However, Because of its knowledge has the characteristics as the micro of basic knowledge; the invisualization of processes of life activities; the long period of the process of life and so on, The biology teaching needs more support and assistance of information technology. Nowadays,Multimedia teaching is one way of teachers to teach.This approach,to a certain extent, is lack of dynamism and interactivity,which can not better stimulate students’ learning fun and motivation. Educational game has the advantages of dynamic, virtual and incentive, can provide students with more vivid image support and technology platform to practice. At present, the research on and development of educational games in English, mathematics and other subjects are relatively complete, so the design and development of biological educational games has more models and accordings. Nevertheless,the specific design patterns and design scheme of biological educational games need to prefer the characteristics of biology:we should construct suitable game modes for Biology. This study is intended to explore the organic combination of educational games and the teaching of biology, and mine the value of educational games on biology education. Lastly, we hope to provide accordings for further scientific discovery on complete biological game design theory and practice.Taking the textbook of people education as a reference, the article analysis the biological teaching content and teaching materials, and summarize the cognition of middle school students. At the same time the author analyzes the current categories of educational game and Summarizes the theoretical principles of design of high school biology education games. Then the article expounds the software foundation of the design, the design strategies, the longitudinal development process and the specific aspects to be handled during the design process. Then the paper lists the factors and details to be considered when facing these specific aspects of design. Base on the above comprehensive research and in-depth analysis, the biological content is sorted and divided into four types: biotechnology-based knowledge of biological experiments; the knowledge of science-technology-society that allows students to understand the relationship between science, technology and social; the abstract knowledge of genetic from compulsory variation of two classes of High school;the Non experimental basic knowledge of structure and process from the whole book of junior and senior middle school. Corresponding to this four types of knowledge, we design four type of biology educational games: the educational game mode of the experimental knowledge, the educational game mode of the STS knowledge, the educational game mode of the genetic knowledge, the small game mode of the structure and process knowledge. For each game mode,the article explains the definition; the significance of the study; the basis of the research; suitable knowledge point and the design idea and scheme in general. Moreover, in the final selection of each mode,we pick one knowledge point to design a corresponding game and give the specific design ideas.As the limit of research ability and personnel, based only on the small game mode of the structure and process knowledge, we design a small game software,named “the small game of preliminary study on cell structure”. By presenting the design and planning process of the game, we visually shows the design process of educational game;at the same time we analysis the design advantages on the elements design and describe the elements related and the matters needing attention; Then we list some important work done by art designer and programming. At last,we find ten new student to play the game and to give the evaluation and suggestions. After summing up the suggestions and evaluation,we find that the majority of students believe that this method is novel and interesting to memory knowledge, and many of them remembered the corresponding knowledge points through playing this small game,which prove that this little game has a positive significance for beginners to learn the knowledge of cell structure...
