Study on the relationship between the population and cultivated land resources is an important topic of the development of social economic development, especially in agriculture. Due to the large number of mobile population, triggers the cultivated land use changes in the way, and then affect local cultivated land resource security.In this paper, according to the situation of the population flow of Qingshui river basin and overview of cultivated land resource utilization, summarizes the history of population flow process and the basic reason, found that the flow of the population will inevitably lead to the changes of the local ethnic minorities traditional farming methods, on the theory of environmental economics and sustainable development, to the number of cultivated land resources caused by farming methods, quality of reduction, explore the population flow influence on cultivated land resource security, finally, puts forward relevant policy Suggestions for the sustainable development of cultivated land resources. Hope that through the analysis of the affecting factors of cultivated land resource security, provide a reference for the perfection of cultivated land protection mechanism.
