Critical thinking is when determining what to believe or do by rational and comprehensive thinking process. The key is to have critical spirit, It is based on justice, the goal is to achieve comprehensive and objective understanding of things.Critical thinking requires not only reflected in the process of teachers’ teaching,dissolve into students’ study life. High school thought political lesson as a unified course of knowledge and the emotion value, not only for all the high school students to the basic of Marxism, ideological and moral, ideological and political education,and to focus on the cultivation of students’ thinking ability, help students to analysis,judgment, reasoning in order to reach the correct understanding of things. High school thought political lesson course overall goal is to cultivate students ability to apply the knowledge analysis phenomenon, and form a correct world outlook, the outlook on life, values, to guide the students to participate in social life. Therefore, to cultivate the students’ critical thinking is very necessary.Under the background of new curriculum reform, this paper based on the connotation of critical thinking and demands, using the investigation and study,combined with related literature, the method of theory with practice, through to the high school thought political lesson of the investigation of the status quo of the critical thinking, critical thinking cultivation in the high school thought political lesson teaching achievements, on the basis of analysis of the high school thought political lesson teaching of critical thinking cultivation in the existing problems and causes, and advances some corresponding countermeasures, hope to provide some references for the thought political lesson teaching in the future. Full text is divided into five parts.The first part, introduction. First this paper introduces the theoretical basis and realistic basis of this study, the research status at home and abroad and the significance of the cultivation of critical thinking. Secondly introduces this research use the research methods such as literature research, investigation and study, and research ideas, research difficult point, research and innovation points.The second part, the thought political lesson teaching the importance of cultivating critical thinking. First of all, based on the research achievements of domestic and foreign experts and scholars on critical thinking, to define the connotation of critical thinking. Critical thinking is a based on the contrast, more facts material, ask questions, analyze and demonstrate the process of rational thinking. Critical thinking is mainly has five characteristics: initiative, reflective,rigor, integrity, dynamic. Secondly, based on the characteristics of critical thinking,combining the characteristics of the thought political lesson teaching material content,points out that the meaning of the thought political lesson teaching to foster critical thinking, and helps to speed up teacher professional development, help to enhance the effect of classroom teaching, help to cultivate innovative talents.The third part, the problems existing in the thought political lesson teaching of critical thinking and cause analysis. First of all find out through the problems that exist in the thought political lesson teaching of critical thinking mainly include the school does not pay attention to create critical thinking and cultural environment,teachers’ lack of critical thinking ability of modern approach to learning, students learn such problems as not enough. Then use the methods of investigation and research, classroom observation found above problem is mainly composed of "exam-oriented education" to ignore the cultivation of student ability, teacher professional development level is not high, the students learning motivation factors such as too much utility.The fourth part, the thought political lesson teaching in the cultivation of critical thinking countermeasures. Pointed out that to foster critical thinking ways:optimization evaluation mechanism, correctly guide the thought political lesson teaching; Improve the thought political lesson teacher specialization, strengthening teachers guide; The awareness of autonomous learning, transformation of the mode of learning.
