Critical thinking plays an important role in the development of individuals,society,and nations.As a teacher of the future,teacher-training students have more critical thinking ability.This study uses the CTDI-CV(Critical Thinking Tendency Test Table)to systematically measure and evaluate the critical thinking characteristics of 1000 normal school students in S University.As a result,it was found that the overall level of critical thinking of normal students in S universities was poor,and the characteristics of critical thinking were weak and unbalanced,especially the lack of awareness and ability to find the truth;self-confidence and cognition of boys and girls in critical thinking.There are significant differences in maturity;freshman students have a better performance in critical thinking;sophomores have poorer critical thinking;students in various disciplines have different qualities in critical thinking;students in the humanities are better than social students.Natural students' critical thinking has more self-confidence;family education and family economic conditions have a significant influence on children's self-confidence in critical thinking.Whether or not they serve as student cadres has an impact on students' critical thinking.The factors of university students' critical thinking include the influence of congenital genetic factors,the influence of early experience and environment,the influence of education and practical activities,and the influence of individual subjective initiative.Next,this study focuses on the relationship between school education and the development of students' critical thinking.This study found that not only does the lack of critical thinking courses in S-curriculum courses,but also the lack of training of students in critical thinking in daily teaching.This has greatly affected the development of critical thinking of its students.In order to improve the students' level of critical thinking,it is recommended that S University introduce or develop teaching materials that are suitable for critical thinking in their own cultural contexts.Classroom teaching is mainly based on inquiry-based group cooperation,and extracurricular activities are based on practical teaching methods.Establish a student assessment approach that focuses on formative assessment to allow students to exercise critical thinking skills in practice and inquiryactivities.
