Moral character is the student to carry on the ideological and moral education,moral education, social education main channel, bearing the important task of ideological and moral education of junior middle school students. For junior middle school students to form healthy personality, good behavior habits have irreplaceable important effect, youth ideological and moral construction, junior middle school thought moral teaching, has drawn great attention of the countries of the CPC central committee. In the party central committee to strengthen teenagers file spirit under the guidance of ideological and moral construction, in the moral character, with the help of the teacher in junior middle school thought moral efforts to cultivate junior middle school students good ideological and moral quality has made a lot of work, has achieved obvious results. But, in the rapid economic development and under the condition of many kinds of cultures coexist, there have been some negative changes in our social moral concepts, which not only brings to the middle school students themselves to the test, also brought challenges to the ideological and moral educators and difficulties. Efforts in the moral character of teachers and education departments and correct management of the local education department and guided by regional moral character teaching in the process of our development has obtained certain achievement. However, due to various reasons, the teaching idea, teacher’s professional level, teaching methods and means, there exist many problems in such aspects as evaluation way. Therefore to strengthen teaching of moral character and the realistic problems of the moral character education, and its formation reasons for system analysis, and put forward improvement Suggestions, according to the existing problems for the effective development of regional moral character education,cultivate moral, intellectual, physical, the United States for the society harmonious development of the high quality successors of socialism and to cultivate students’ innovative ability and practice ability has the vital significance.This article has four parts. The first part, introduced this topic research background, research significance, research ideas and methods, research status at home and abroad. The second part, the paper expounds related concept and the importance and significance of moral character. The third part, the current situation of regional junior middle school thought moral problems in regional junior middle school thought moral to conduct a comprehensive investigation and analysis. Select regional junior middle school thought moral teachers at various levels and of 30 people, junior high school student 616 people, of all types and at all levels, a questionnaire 700, recycling questionnaire 650, questionnaire recovery rate was92.8%, 616 effective questionnaires were in recycling questionnaire, questionnaire effective rate was 94.7%. According to the results of the survey analysis of the regional problems of junior middle school thought moral character teaching mainly include the following: school of moral character is not the same as the emphasis, part of the teachers’ professional quality is not high, rich teaching methods to owe,students lack of learning interest and learning methods, there are some drawbacks in evaluating owe science and so on. The fourth part, combined with the third part of the investigation and analysis, put forward Suggestions to improve the regional junior middle school thought moral education and countermeasures. Puts forward some countermeasures for the improvement of the specific as follows: 1, change teaching idea; 2, improve the professional quality of ideological and moral teachers;3, choose suitable teaching methods; 4, stimulate students’ interest in learning; 6,build a scientific evaluation mechanism.
