The human being has been pushed forward to a new era of information —— the new media era,by the revolution of new science and technology happening. Compared with the traditional media such as newspaper,TV. Mainly refers to the network media,mobile phone media and the formation of network technology based on information technology media platform,the formation of completely different from traditional media(newspapers,radio,television and other new media). With the rapid New media development and the popularity of the network,For a long time,the Dalai clique in the "Tibet issue" to confuse, ethnic hatred, some Western politicians have stoked the fire, with gross interference in China’s internal affairs.College students are in the ideas and values being formed period, they are easy impacted by media. From the situation of college students’ media cognition, media judgment,media creativity,media use, Chinese college students in general are able to adapt to the new media environment. But in terms of the specific media behavior, college students are also faced with some problems, for example, media awareness is not enough,media judgment is weak,the awareness of media moral and law is weak.Tibet University students are important reserve force for regional and social development in Tibet,what their ideological quality of national unity,directly related to the long-term stability and prosperity of the Tibet region of China’s social stability.At present,Tibet University has education as the main content of the ideological and political education of national unity, also achieved remarkable results. But due to the unique geographical location in Tibet, special districts,increasingly prominent in the new media environment and so determine the long-term national unity education in colleges and universities in Tibet,sensitivity, the enormity and complexity,and other characteristics, keeping pace with the times, reform and innovation of the education of national units extremely urgent and important.New situation of ethnic unity education in colleges and universities in Tibet pose a severe challenge,The great changes in the new media technology in the information content and form, information collection, information dissemination channels etc. College has become a front in the struggle against separatism in Tibet and split the group with our competition for young people in the most important position. It makes big reform in terms of information collection,information contents and forms, and information dissemination channels. Therefore,Make full use of new media,analysis of national unity education in colleges and universities in Tibet, and discussion on the countermeasures of strengthening and improving the education of national unity is essential.This paper is divided into four areas:Chapter I is the introduction,stating the purpose、the background and significance of the study,combed through domestic and foreign research status and review of the literature.
