The implementation of the national unity education curriculum is an important measure for all levels of schools in China to train students in the awareness of national solidarity,and it is also a guarantee for the people of all nationalities in China to unite and help each other and live in harmony.The curriculum is the core of school education.In school education,national unity education mainly depends on the teaching of the curriculum.How to build and implement relevant courses is a major issue for China’s national unity education.Based on the purpose,significance of national unity education curriculum,and research status at home and abroad,using literature research methods,SATI statistical analysis,questionnaires,interviews,and other major scientific research methods,we analyzed the phenomenon of national unity education curriculum construction and found that Problems and unfavorable factors.On the basis of the practical significance and theoretical basis of the national unity education curriculum construction,we analyze the necessity and feasibility of this research.Taking the theory of multiculturalism,Marx’s theories on ethnic groups,and curriculum development as the theoretical basis of the study,it analyzes the design of the objectives,curriculum content,and the construction of the curriculum of the national unity education curriculum,the construction of the curriculum teacher team,and the way in which the curriculum is implemented and the course management and evaluation positioning.Starting from the above theories,M Primary School was taken as a case to conduct a three-month investigation.Starting from its basic situation,observe what methods and methods it has used in the course of building a national unity education curriculum.During the research process,interviews were used to interview leaders and teachers in the course construction.Questionnaires were used to examine students’ learning status and learning attitude.In the interview,we draw its current status in the course of curriculum construction,understand its achievements,analyze the difficulties and problems it faces,and the reasons for these difficulties and problems.During the investigation,it was found that M primary school needs to be strengthened in terms of curriculum objectives,curriculum operation,curriculum structure,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation methods.Then,with reference to related theories,we analyzed the crux of the problems faced by M primary school.In terms of curriculum objectives,it was found that its curriculum aims to focus on the transmission of cultural knowledge and that the integration of multiculturalism as the goal of ethnic unity education needs to be strengthened.The curriculum structure emphasizes the activity classes,it also lacks of specialized curriculum teachers and curriculum resource development and utilization,the curriculum management methods does not good enough.Finally,starting from the four reasons that have caused the construction of the national unity education curriculum,I tried to find a way to improve the national unity education curriculum from the four aspects of curriculum content structure,curriculum resources,curriculum teachers,curriculum methods.At the end,it analyzes and discusses the direction that the national unity education curriculum construction needs to explore in the future.
