At present, getting a higher score and enrolling into a key school almost become the only learning objective of every pupil or school student in China. Under the double pressures of teachers and parents, students almost all living in heavy pressures of study tasks everyday. So they have little time, energy and mood to concern about their health. A lot of students just depend on their parents for more plentiful nutrition, and the formalized morning exercises, physical education classes in school to keep their health. In fact, only depending on these to develop or maintain students’ health is not enough. In the face of such situation, we put forward “The key of solving students’ health problems is to cultivate their right health concept”.Middle school students are in a special period of rapid development. In this period, cultivating the students’ health philosophy is absolutely necessary for their healthy growth and development. As Biology is one of the most closely related disciplines to human health, so that implementing health education in Biology classes and cultivating students’ health concept would be a very important responsibility of Biology teacher. So, how to cultivate the students’ health concept better in Biology classes? These are what the main subject of this paper to discuss and resolve.Philosophical concept(Li-Nian) is the abstract conceptualization of the thought idea, the spirit of yearning, ideal pursuit and philosophical beliefs through long-term rational thinking and practice. Concept decides attitude and behavior, constraints ourselves, provides power, leads to the target, and determines success or failure.This thesis based on the analysis of relative document literature, “ the full-time ordinary high school Biology new curriculum standard ” and the current Biology textbooks published by the people’s education press, concluded that Biology classes have very important advantages in terms of health education. Further, we determined that cultivating the students’ philosophy of health in Biology classes is very feasible and necessary.This article mainly adopts the methods of questionnaires and teachers interviews. First of all, we distributed to the students( which are from eight science classes)of senior two of the school( in which, the authors has practiced for five months) about the health questionnaires, and conducted the questionnaires survey results of a careful statistics and analysis. Then, we found that the students’ understanding of health knowledge, living habits, diseases prevention and cognition of adolescent knowledge, and so on are not very optimistic. Moreover, by interviewing with the Biology teachers, we learned that they also recognized the problems and are willing to do their best to conduct the health education to cultivate students’ correct health concept. The results showed that cultivating students’ health concept in Biology classes is necessary and is also feasible.On the basis of the investigation analysis and reference to previous studies, I put forwarded to some strategies and implementation suggestions about cultivating health concepts in Biology classes. I wish that my present thesis would be able to help teachers doing better in permeating health philosophical concept in their Biology classes.In a word, the research purpose of this paper is to arouse schools to pay more attention to students’ health as well as improving students’ academic performance, because health is the premise to realize all purposes. So Biology teachers must put their eyes in the long run, to promote the healthy development of their students’ all-round, and this is also their responsibilities.
