Biology is a natural science subject based on experiments,and experimental design,as a link with high requirements on experimental ability,has always been a difficult problem for schools and teachers in the basic education stage.Through classroom observation,interview with teachers and questionnaire survey,the author understands the current situation of high school students' biological experiment design ability cultivation from the perspectives of real class,teachers and students.The new curriculum standards explicitly require students to develop the ability to design experiments that enable them to demonstrate biological issues.In the existing experimental classes,the teaching mode is mostly "speaking--doing--writing".In fact,students have a negative attitude towards whether they can abide by the principles of experimental design when designing experiments.Both teachers and students think that the ability of experimental design needs to be cultivated and urgently needs to be cultivated.In order to meet the requirements of talent training in the new era,it is urgent to improve students' experimental design ability.Experiments are the basis for students to understand the concept of scientific discipline.Invariable books experiment for students interested in lower experimented on out of books,teachers and students by the students free design has a strong interest and the present situation of the class is relatively small,to apply concepts of concept design of experiment teaching in students' design experiments at the same time help students to establish a knowledge framework,and increase the efficiency of the classroom and on the basis of establish the concepts about students life improve discipline core accomplishment,is worth a try.The author on the basis of pedagogy and psychology theory,this paper presents the concept of big under the theory of experimental design ability teaching strategy: involves the concept and design program,build a framework for teaching,for class generative questions reconstruction experiment design,the fusion experimental design books,draw a general concept,for class goal,design of experiment.After a semester of teaching practice,the teaching effect is tested.From the view of dominant evaluation,the results of before and after test show that the experimental class and the regular class have a very significant difference in the experimental design ability.However,students' post-test scores are still relatively low on the whole.According to the questionnaire survey,students feedback that their experimental step design is weak,and the post-test results show that there is a significant difference in the experimental step design between the two classes.From the invisible evaluation results,students have a high degree of recognition for the teaching of experimental design,and the classroom learning atmosphere of the experimental class is better.However,after class reflection,it is found that there are still many deficiencies in the teaching of experimental design,among which,in addition to the absence of external conditions such as instruments and equipment,the teaching of basic experimental technology is also lacking.Generally speaking,experimental teaching based on big concept concept can effectively improve students' ability of biological experiment design,and the strategy of cultivating students' ability of experimental design under big concept concept is true and effective,in line with the learning situation,and has great benefits for improving students' enthusiasm in class.It is a topic worthy of in-depth exploration.
