| In late May, 2014, the writer of this thesis was sent to Ecuador on mission by Chinese government to teach Chinese in the middle school “Genesis†in the city “Quevedoâ€, she has learnt that there was a growing trend of the Chinese Teaching business there. However, due to different culture, there exist such great differences on behaviors of Chinese learning between Chinese students and Ecuadorian ones. So this thesis has analyzed the Chinese learning behaviors of native students from the view of culture, according to the teaching practice and the investigation which has already been carried out into the three middle school which have opened Chinese class, it has been concluded that there are three main problems in Chinese teaching: First, the Chinese teachers here are just not so proficient at teaching and Spanish; Secondly the use of teaching materials is in a mess and the textbooks are not so targeted; Third, the cooperation between teachers and schools can’t reach the ideal state.Ecuador is relatively backward in economy development in South America, which traditionally is husbandry-oriented and also in the primary stage of industrialization, so people here are always accustomed to a slow pace of life, who also enjoy a lot studying, working and living in a stress-free state. Even a professional Chinese teacher can’t make the students keep a consistent passion in Chinese learning, so adjusting the way of teaching which is based on understanding the native culture has played such a crucial role in improving the effect of Chinese popularizing in this area. |
