Study On Building And Development Of High Level Track And Field Sports Teams In Colleges In Chongqing

Known as the “mother of the sports”, track and field sports not only helpful to the all-round development of body quality and movement skills, but also played a role in promoting to improve the sports technology. As an important symbol the athletics level used to measure sports comprehensive strength of a national.To build high-level sport teams in colleges is an important strategic measure to implement competitive sports to enter the International University Sports Federation and reserve talents for Olympic gold. As of 2014, there are eight colleges to recruit high-level athletes in Chongqing; three of them have the qualifications to recruit high-level track and field athletes. In recent years, the late start time and low-level competitive sports in Chongqing, make the effect of the college high-level track and field sports teams are not significant. The bottlenecks are gradually exposed in the process of speed up building the college high-level track and field sports teams.This paper goes on with the problem in building and development of the high-level track and field sports teams in colleges in Chongqing. At first, this paper introduces the significance of the study area, and finds out some problems of the domestic high-level track and field sports teams; by compare the domestic current status to the abroad. This paper selects three colleges as the specific object, use questionnaire survey, literature analyses, logical analysis and mathematical statistic to research specific object; with the specific object this paper has survey the current status of high-level track and field sports teams in Chongqing. Combined with the survey results, this paper is analysis on the side of the source of athletes, the sports and education combination, the guarantee condition, the scientific research of physical education and the coach team. Furthermore, this paper has discussed the bottlenecks on building and development of high-level track and field sports teams in colleges in Chongqing. At the end of this paper, the scenario of development is give on the side of strengthen the cohesion of elementary and middle schools, exert the advantage of scientific research in colleges, strengthen the scientific management of sports teams, expand financing channels, organize competition, strive for policy support.
