Research On The Development Of 3-6 Years Old Children Sharing Behavior

Society is the common life of people combined by a variety of social relations collections. Prosocial behavior is not only an important basis of forming and maintaining the harmonious relationship between people, but also is the important content and measure of individual socialization, especially in young children’s socialization. Sharing is an important aspect in prosocial behavior. Sharing behavior plays an important role in perfecting the personality of children, improving the level of their moral and promoting their socialization process. Since our country’s family planning policy implemented, many family have only one child. Parents tend to take too much care to the children, making them form the idea that they only consider themselves, ignore other people and all the delicious or funny things are theirs. Aimed at this situation, the researchers should pay more attention to children’s sharing behaviors development.However, the present research about children’s prosocial behavior is not deep enough and systemic in our country. So this study selected 60 subjects and 120 companions from NeoSuite International Bilingual Kindergarten to take sharing experiment. The experiment data was analyzed from three dimension which are age, gender and peer relations. Then the study got the characteristics of 3-6 years old children’s sharing behavior development.1. The sharing behavior of 3 to 6 years old children is closely related to the age characteristics of children. In senior and middle classes, as the growth of the age, young children’s sharing levels increased significantly, but the sharing lever of junior classes children has a downward trend.2. In general, there is no obvious difference at the share levels of different genders children. The sharing level of girls on girls in junior and middle classes is much higher than that of senior classes.3. The levels of sharing have significant differences that children to children in same classes or different classes. In general, children showed higher levels of sharing to their familiar companions.Based on the results of the study, the proposal shall be conducted according to the age characteristics of children, creating a comfortable environment, expanding the scope of children’s communication, in order to achieve purpose of cultivating children’s sharing consciousness and behavior better.
