Based on the perspective of public administration, this paper discusses the main research areas of rural senior high school in Yangjiang. It is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction, which mainly introduces the research background and significance. The second chapter firstly defines the basic concept of public products and their classifications. Secondly it explores the attribute of education as public product as well as government intervention, which explains why government intervenes education. As a representative of public power and interest, the government has responsibility for educational fairness. Lastly in Chapter Two, it sets forth the coverage of public expenditure. Furthermore, public interests in education need government’s involvement, which is the essential way and guarantee in fulfilling educational duty. The third chapter summarizes the problem existed in rural senior high school such as financial problem and dropout problem,then take Monan Middle school as an example and analyze the problems. The fourth chapter presents the cause of the existed problems from the perspective of government responsibility and social influence.Finally, the thesis puts countermeasures and proposes for rural senior school with the help of government and social involvement.
