Self-consciousness is to own understanding, is the individual aspects of yourself and the environment consciousness, it has to do with individual mental health have close role in social development. Self-consciousness development both at the same time affected by biological inheritance, and related to external factors such as social evaluation. Attribution is a general view of yourself or others, are components of personality traits. Academic achievement is the external evaluation of primary school children’s main reference. Understand elementary school children’s self-consciousness and the characteristics of attribution way, as well as for the inner psychological characteristics of attribution style and the status of the children’s self-consciousness and Chinese school-age children, one of the main external evaluation standard academic performance in general and component have relevance, will provide new ideas and scientific basis of reasonable psychological education for school managemen.This study on the related data at home and abroad on the basis of combing, USES the questionnaire survey, random a 4 to 6 grade 348 students in chengdu as the research object, through the description statistics, difference test, correlation analysis, this paper discusses the 4-6 grade students’ self consciousness and characteristics, the way of attribution and attribution style, the relationship between academic achievement and self consciousness. Research conclusions are as follows:1, Four to six grade students overall level of self-awareness is better, but the gender and grade differences. Boys and girls in the comparison of self consciousness up, girls in addition to the dimension of anxiety, total split and behavior of the self-consciousness scale, intelligence and school, body appearance and properties, sociable, happiness and satisfy the five dimensions scores were higher than boys and there are significant difference, high section that primary school girls relative to boys have a higher self awareness. Students of different grades have significant differences in the overall sense of self, the higher the grade, the higher self consciousness level. In the two contrast, fourth grade students and grade 6 students have significant differences in self-knowledge, fourth grade students’ self-consciousness level significantly lower than the grade 6 students.2, Students of different grades have significant differences in self-knowledge, student’s self consciousness is higher than successful academic achievements students, outstanding student for his intelligence more confident and more sociable, evaluation for schools and more positive.3, Students generally tend to external attribution, attribution way no grade differences, different grades, students showed significant difference, underachieving students prefer the event result due to external factors.4, Related research results, points out that tend to external attribution of students, both in academic achievement and self awareness level is low, academic performance is good student, his self development level is higher.
