A Feasible Studying On The Integration Education Mode Of Both Sprint And Hurdle

With the lecture hours decreasing, teaching scale expanding, teaching quality improving, hurdle race is thought one of the most difficulty sports in track and field teaching. We should seek the relationships between professional skills and comprehensive quality, and we also seek that there are lots of similarities between short running and hurdle race in order to finish teaching content better than before. It will form integrated teaching if we arrange teaching content and teaching order appropriately between these two. What’s more, we will obtain the results in teaching experiment in order to verify teaching effectiveness.There are 40 undergraduate students in Shaanxi Normal University as experiment participants. These students were divided into experiment team and control team, and all of participants took part in fitness testing as to make sure that there are no such big differences in physical fitness. The physical fitness of all participants in different groups is trending average level and the teachers at the same level teach short running and hurdle race. In experiment team, the teachers teach these two sports together according to technical movements between short running and hurdle race, and the transfer theory also be used in class teaching. In control team, the teachers teach short running and hurdle race separately according to traditional teaching model; the total teaching hours are 36.Before the experiment both two groups were tested for their sprint technique separately, and then the two groups were tested during different stages of the assessment. Once the experiment was completed, students were taking the final assessment in accordance with the Hurdle evaluation criteria. Meanwhile, by using the biomechanical testing method on the some of the subjects, using the professional software to process a series of technical data, and further we made exploration the analysis of the interaction factors producing motor skills migration between sprint and hurdle technique, and provided reasonable suggestions.This study could draw the following conclusions:1. From the whole experiment schedule form you can see, while two groups of students use the same hour section, on the progress the experimental group is ahead of the control group. Not only in the second stage to make full use of the students who are familiar with the skill training enthusiasm to enrich the teaching contents, left students enough time to practice in the final stage. Integration of teaching is not only arranging the teaching progress effectively and reasonably, also save an hour section.2. From the data of the experiment, the measurement of the 110 m hurdles experimental results(17.23-0.15) higher than the control group(17.48 + /- 0.35),(p > 0.05), it illustrated the differences between two groups, and from each group data can be seen both in the experimental group and control group after the experiment the index has improved, but the experimental group were higher than that of control group, that means integrated teaching mode used in sprint and hurdle teaching will produce the positive transfer and promote the teaching.3. According to the data from biomechanical analysis, it is easy to find that there is no big difference in master movements between these two groups(p<0.05), the parameters in two groups almost the same. The results indicate that the integrated teaching don’t have effect on technical standard actions studying.4. Therefore, this teaching experiment indicates that by using an integrated teaching mode of sprint & hurdle at the same time would leave a better teaching effect than the traditional single project. This will not affect the students’ sprint performance, but also would improve students’ speed of grasping hurdle techniques and athletic performance.
