Adopting the 645 core articles published from 1992 to 2012 in CNKI with the titles of Primary Mathematics as my research object, this thesis is wrote to further analyze the status, related issues and developments of our country’s elementary mathematical research around 20 years after the implementation of new curriculum standards. Drawing on bibliometrics, we do some statistics analysis of metrology from the aspects of published papers amount, the quotation cases, the paper contents, the research methods and the authors’situation for the purpose of clarifying the thoughts about the development situation, change rules and existing problems of primary mathematics. The research result shows that the published related article volume increased in a wave-like manner in the past two decades, indicating an upward trend of the research quality. The result also discloses the unitary paradigm of theoretical research, but we also can see the growth of case-oriented study’s quality. The existing elementary mathematical researches are based on personal experience from specific author group, lacking team cooperation. The main research institutes are primary schools and normal universities, the geographical distribution of which is uneven. In this thesis, the citation theories are mainly based on pedagogy and psychology, embodying the discipline characteristics of elementary mathematics research. The citation types center on journals and books. The dominant citation language is Chinese. The amount of English citation is increased, showing the upward research trend of international comparison.
