With modern social life level unceasing enhancement, change of lifestyle, people’s diet structure change, the traditional way of physical activity gradually replaced by mechanization and automation of the external force, obese people in today’s society has become a common social vulnerable groups, at the same time, also increase some potential risk of pathology. Therefore, through the literature material, expert interview, experiment and questionnaire survey research methods, such as obesity in young and middle-aged women’s physical and mental health as the research object, by the fourth yoga as a way of fitness, to 57 young and middle-aged obese women in the five months of study, to verify the fourth yoga exercise on middle-aged and young female obese body shape, physical quality, body function and the influence of psychological effect. The following research conclusions:(1) the fourth yoga exercise on body shape: the influence of the original indicators of body weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, thigh circumference, upper arm circumference, calf circumference, abdominal skinfold, Mr Index, BMI, body fat percentage and body fat weight of the implementation of the effect is better; For the lean body mass and waist-to-hip ratio WHR two derived index effect is not obvious.(2) the fourth yoga exercise influence on body quality: in young and middle-aged women obesity of flexibility, coordination, sensitive quality and endurance quality improvement effect is good, but in terms of speed of power quality and the quality of performance for no obvious improvement and effect.(3) the fourth yoga exercise on body function: the influence of body composition index of visceral fat, abdominal fat ratio, vital capacity and quiet blood-pressure improvement effect is good, for the quiet heart rate and systolic blood pressure effect is not obvious.(4) the fourth yoga to young and middle-aged obese people mental health diathesis indexes: the influence of the fourth yoga helps to improve the self-esteem level of young and middle-aged female obese people, improve the exercise induced emotions, stimulate vitality exercise, improve the physical and mental calm, reduce physical fatigue, stimulate positive input psychological emotion; Single yoga helps improve depression, slow down the risk of depression.
