Objective:This paper intends to explore the influence of flow yoga and ball yoga on femle college students’ body shape. It also intends to explore the influence of them on the students’cardiovascular function, blood and microcirculation so as to provide experimental references for universities offering yoya courses. Methods:The main methods used in the research are documentation, experiment, mathematical statistics and interviews, of which experiment is the core research method.120female college students are chosed randomly from Central China Normal Univeristy Yoga Club. The control group(n=40) live and study as usual without doing yoga exercise. Experimental group2(n=40) practice ball yoga exercises for18weeks, four times every week. Each practice lasts90minutes,including preparation, exercise and relaxation. The exercise intensity is medium(heart rate varies between120~150times/min).Results:(1) Compared with the pre-experiment, BMI, height and chest circumference index drop significantly (p<0.05) and experimental group2decreased more obviously than group1in the mean value of BMI and height, chest circumference index. WHR, and the thickness of abdominal skin fold decline significantly (p<0.01), with group2declining more significant. WEWK increases with very distinctive difference (p<0.01), the mean value of group2being higher.(2) Compared with the pre-experiment, the MSP and MDP of the two experimental groups both decline significantly with distinctive difference, the mean value of group2declining more significantly. The value of AC、ETK rises significantly while STR declines more obviously with distinctive difference(p<0.01), the mean value of group2rising higher and the mean value of STR declining further.(3) Compared with pre-experiment, the value of HR、SV、VPEL of the two experimental groups changes obviously with very distinctive difference (p<0.01). The difference is also very significant when compared to the control group (p<0.01). The value of SI、CI rises with very distinctive differences ((p<0.05). The difference is also very significant when compared to the control group. As to group1and group2, the main index of cardiovascular function of the latter changed more significantly than the former, namely the mean value of HR index rises more significantly. The mean value of the four indicators (SV、SI、 CI、VPEL) increases more significantly.(4) Compared with pre-experiment, the value of BV and OV remain unchanged without distinctive significance (p>0.05); the value of V declines significantly with distinctive significance (p<0.05); the value of ALK declines significantly with distinctive significance (p<0.05); the value of ALT and TM declines significantly with significant meaning(p<0.01). As to group1and group2, the change of BV、V、OV that reflect blood function is similar without significant meaning(p<0.05). Group2rises more significantly than group1in ALK and declines more significantly than group1in ALT and TM.Conclusion:The ball and flow yoga exercises that last18weeks helps female students lose weight, promotes normal development of body shape and improve cardiovascular function. From the changes of body shape index and cardiovascular function index of the two experimental groups, we can see that ball yoga group has a greater influence on the body shape indexes and some cardiovascular function indexes than flow yoga group. Therefore, it is concluded that ball yoga is more beneficial to improving cardiovascular function.Recommendation:Three suggestions are put forward to promote yoga class based on the experimental result. First, flwo yoga and ball yoga should be included in the construction system of unviersite’s PE courses and great importance should be attached to the explotion and instruction of emerging yoga classes. Second, condition permitting, universities should give priority to ball yoga courses, setting up special sites and providing equipment for ball yoga exercise. Third, universities should build cooperative platform, promoting the instruction of yoga classes to a higher level.
