Study On The Flow Characteristic, Employment Attributes And The Economic Integration Of College Students’ Floating Population

In the new era of China, the economy has entered a new normal, which is steady growth and industrial structure optimization. This is attractive for the floating population. But at the same time, put forward higher requirements for their capabilities. In order to seek better employment opportunities and realize self-worth, the college students’ floating population decide to flow. As a group of have higher human capital stock, whether they can adapt to the development of the new era, and how about their economic integration, are the focus of this paper. Through the understand of current situation of the economic integration of college students’ floating population, discuss the impact mechanism, then some specific suggestions are put forward to speed up the economic integration, and provide reference for other floating population.Firstly, constructed a comprehensive index system to quantify the abstract "economic integration", which by economic income, occupational prestige, living conditions and social security. Then the factor analysis technology was adopted, got 59.10 points for the college students’ floating population. Secondly, carry on a descriptive analysis of single variable for the current economic integration situation of college students’ floating population from the various dimensions. Specific conclusions were as follows:The current college students’ floating population present new generation of the Urban-urban flow characteristics, which have high employment rate; half of them, average income more than Y 4500 a month; good employment level and professional reputation; high coverage of social security. But employment status is not ideal; the type of housing are rental house and unit dormitory; and there is a certain gap compared with the household registration population. For the heterogeneity of other floating population, they are not as good as the college students’floating population in different dimensions, the comprehensive score is only 49.84 points.Thirdly, based on that current college students’ floating population have a high level of economic integration overall, and according to the hierarchical structure of data and theoretical basis, both the micro level and macro level factors took into account. The multilevel model was used to discuss the impact mechanism of economic integration for college students’ floating population. Found that, the micro factors like the inflow region, residence time, age of birth, employment industry, unit property, work experience and the macro factors like per capita GDP, second and third industrial output ratio, the minimum wage,there have a significant impact on the level of economic integration of college students’ floating population; except gender, household registration and unemployment rate. And the choose of inflow region present a feature that: high level and high integration.Finally, according to the research results, the paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of system reform and integrated path promoting.
