Analysis Of The Impact Of The Educational Investment On The Economic Growth In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Since The Western Development

With the constant development of society and economy, the promotion of education income to economic growth is more and more obvious and the influence degree of education input to economic growth has gradually become the focus of attention for government departments and all sectors of the society. Therefore, scholars have conducted abundant researches on the influence of education input on economic development. It is found after research that, education is not only one of the factors promoting the economic growth but also one of the most important factors. The economic value of education has been confirmed and identified. China has implemented the policy that educational development shall be given priority, based on which, all levels of government in Inner Mongolia have always adhered to the party’s leadership, strongly carried out the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education. Especially since the implementation of the western development strategy, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has make a great improvement and optimization in the educational scale, efficiency and structure. Besides, the investment in education keeps increasing every year and reaches an unprecedented height. Then, how much has the educational investment influenced on the economic growth in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region since the western development? Has the educational investment structure been reasonable? How to adjust it to make the investment in education give full a play of its role in the economic growth?Based on the above background, this paper tries to combine theory with practice and makes systematic and specific analysis to the influence of education input in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the economic growth since the implementation of the strategy of western development. This paper is divided into four parts:the first part includes introduction, relevant concepts and basic theory, etc. and it elaborates the relevant concepts and theories of research background, contents, education input and economic growth. The second part mainly analyzes such indexes as education input and economic growth, and the development status of education input and economic growth in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region after the implementation of western development strategy is systematically analyzed with the yearbook data. The third part is about demonstration and the influence of education input in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on economic growth through the establishment of measurement model. The fourth part includes suggestions on countermeasures and the conclusions, and it proposes the countermeasures for the current education input mechanism in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region combined with the relevant research conclusions and the national features of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, thus promoting the economic growth in this Region.Through the analysis and research of the related data, it is known that: the educational investment, fixed assets increase and economic growth in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are positively correlated, which means that the increase of educational investment and fixed assets will spur the economic growth. When the other conditions remain unchanged, each 1% increase in educational investment can bring 0.64% of the economic growth and each 1% increase in the fixed assets can make the economy go up by 0.29%. The educational investment have greater impact in stimulating the economic growth than the fixed assets in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region since the western development. It can be seen that the wisest option for Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to make rapid economic growth is to increase the investment in education.However, there still exist the problems such as the educational investment in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region still have the problems of single source of funding, failure to meet the requirement of "two proportions" and "three growth", and unreasonable using structure and hierarchy structure of expenditure. Therefore, we need not only continue to increase the educational investment, but also optimize the educational investment mechanism of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region by adjusting the sources of education funding, optimizing the education expenditure structure, increasing the investment in vocational education and focusing on supporting the minority education, improve the efficiency of educational investment. In this way, we try to construct a good educational environment and enhance overall quality of human resources in Inner Mongolia to promote rapid economic growth and achieve the "quantity" and "quality" development of the economy in our region.
