Teachers’ professional identity is a teacher’s understanding, experience, cognition and behavior of the professional role of the occupation and internalization. In view of the teacher professional role identity research, it can be a thorough understanding of the teachers’ professional sense of belonging, the overall value and the development direction, to provide some useful help for the teachers’ professional development. There are a lot of differences in the professional role of rural primary school teachers, with different types of identity. Specifically, the rural primary school teachers’ professional role identity is the emergence of crisis, as follows: first, the majority of the rural primary school teachers self deprecation, muddling along; second, a small number of rural primary school teachers laissez faire, negative burnout; third, part of rural primary school teachers to submit to humiliation, lost helpless; fourth, active part of rural primary school teachers of the inability to change the status quo, feel the pressure of confusion; fifth, many rural primary school teachers dissatisfied with the work environment and journey is distant, to mobilize. For rural primary school teachers’ professional role identity crisis, we think this reason: reason of their outlook on life and values and the levels of understanding; the second is the development space of rural primary school teachers is small, fewer opportunities, pay attention to, the low level of awareness, it is difficult to realize their own; the third is the rural primary school teachers in general road distance, its fatigue and difficult to balance family; post setting and management of the school; the fifth is seniority and age, rural primary school teachers are also under pressure; 7 is the rural primary school teachers in low income and so on. In order to improve the professional role identity of rural primary schools, the crisis of transforming teacher role identity, the following three aspects: national and social perspectives, rural primary school teachers, rural primary school teachers, and only these three aspects are playing their own role and value, in order to properly solve the problem of rural primary school teachers’ professional role identity crisis, and explore a reasonable way.
