Picture book is a kind of book with both pictures and texts,rich content and educational meaning.It is very in line with the reading characteristics of low-grade primary school students,and it is a Book recognized by most parents that is suitable for preschool and school-age children.Picture book reading is helpful for school-age children's literacy,cognitive ability and imagination,as well as the improvement of aesthetics.It can also improve students' interest in reading.Urged by the background of the times,the whole people enter the reading environment.In this era full of cultural circulation,reading also gradually shows its importance.In order to encourage students to read and encourage low-grade pupils to start with picture book reading,this paper makes an in-depth study and investigation on the current situation of picture book reading of Low-grade Pupils in this area.This study investigated four primary schools in Zibo.In order to ensure the accuracy of the data,parents of lower grade pupils in four primary schools were selected to fill in the form of electronic questionnaire to ensure the recovery of the questionnaire.Spss23 data statistics software and nvivo11 qualitative research software were used for sorting and analysis.The data were mainly divided into two parts: family and school,In terms of family,mainly through quantitative research,the school part uses the form of interview with teachers for qualitative research.The quantitative research is mainly based on the questionnaire,with the interests,habits and family reading environment of lower grade pupils as the main dimensions,and carries out a survey and Research on lower grade pupils of different grades,gender and age.The qualitative research is mainly based on the interview questionnaire,mainly through the interview with teachers,in which the analysis results are obtained.The picture book reading of low-grade pupils is related to three factors: students themselves,teacher guidance and school service.Through investigation and research,it is found that there are three problems in the current situation of picture book reading of low-grade primary school students.First,students' own factors: Students' single interest and picture book reading habits need to be improved;The second is the lack of family environment,including insufficient family picture book resources and insufficient family reading atmosphere.This study also conducted in-depth interviews with the teachers of the investigated schools.Through in-depth exchanges with the teachers,it was found that there are three main problems in the current situation of picture book reading of low-grade primary school students: first,the students' autonomy in reading picture books in school is not enough,and there is the problem of uneven reading quality;Second,the school picture book resources are insufficient and there are few picture book related reading activities;Third,teachers' guidance is not enough.Through sorting,induction and analysis,the influencing factors of picture book reading of low-grade pupils are mainly divided into students' personal reasons,family reasons and school reasons,and find the corresponding solutions according to the reasons.In order to improve the picture book reading ability of low-grade pupils,we should improve the guidance methods of parents' picture book reading,including the school leading to promote the picture book reading of Low-grade Pupils and provide picture book related resources.Picture book reading is also applicable in primary school,especially in the lower grade.Select appropriate picture books according to the age characteristics of students,help students formulate reading plans,help students form a good habit of loving reading,and create a family environment with reading atmosphere.Schools should also strengthen the updating of picture books,enrich the types of books,and pay attention to the time stage from class to class,Teachers really understand the importance of picture books and guide students to carry out the education of picture book reading.
