Art can cultivate people’s sentiments and open up people’s aesthetic vision. As an important carrier, dance has its rich culture. To put more strengthening to arts education will help improve students’ aesthetic vision, the book "general music curriculum standards in high school" believe that dance can enrich students’ artistic experience, establish a healthy aesthetic taste, and promote physical and mental development. Especially in high school, the students already have a preliminary understanding about arts, they are in the formative stages of their own world view, personal outlook, and they are active and energetic. There is a natural interest to dancing at this stage. Then how to better use dance education to effectively enhance students’ ability aesthetic appreciation of things, should become an important part of high school music education. This paper is based on the new high school music curriculum and the actual situation of music education, I think although the school music curriculum is quite well, but still did not highlight the importance of dance education. Dance did not meet in the actual application as "ordinary high school music curriculum standards" said:the dance music is an intimate sister to music, it should appear as a subsidiary branch of music in the high school music education.The current high school music curriculum allows dance into the classroom, as an elective module, ordinary students can accept orthodox dance education, rather than, as before, they couldn’t even get normal dance education except for training agencies outside the school, while the intense study do not allow them to do that. In addition, the weakness of faculty, high fees and reduction in teaching hours of training institutions, which are the reasons that make high school students can not really enjoy the charm of dance. When we are surprised by the beautiful dancing of professional dancers in television shows, when elders actively learn how to dance to try to memorize their youth, as a dance teacher, I suggest it is necessary to implement effective dance education ways in young students.This article focus on how to strengthen the system of dance education, also enable students to find the combination of positive interaction between dance and other subjects, and enabling dance as a integrated arts enhance music appreciation ability, through the artistic accomplishments in improving learning dance, at the same time, it will stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning knowledge, then enhancing their overall learning efficiency. It is indeed necessary to focus on the overall situation of reform in dance. Through a comprehensive analysis of dance education, some specific suggestions have been put forward in the hope that high school dance education may be improved to some extent.
