Nowadays with the development of science and technology, the requirement of the society to the talents is higher and higher. Now the educator’s first aim is to cultivate talent that can adapt to the requirements of social development. In our country for a long time, examination-oriented education has done much harm to primary and secondary education. Almost all the teachers use traditional teaching pattern in the school just for higher marks. As a result, the high-grades but low ability was so-called and that is so bad to the students in the long run. In order to change, so need to use the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry in the class. The second part is mainly talking about the theoretical basis of the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry.My paper is made up of four parts to introduce the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry. Starting from the origin of the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry, my topic tells that using the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry in in high school physics is necessary based on its own points. In the third part, I’ll discuss how to apply this teaching pattern in practical teaching in high school physics. I also do an experiment by using the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry in physic class in No.2 Middle School in Huangpi during 2013 to 2014 as a example.At last, According to the analysis based on the results of the experiment, I try to give a reasonable evaluation on the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry.In the paper preparatory stage, I mastered the basic theories acknowledge mainly by consulting the literature material. My paper includes some high school physics teaching cases to help improve the class of the teaching pattern of collaborative inquiry. After the experiment, I analyzed the marks by education statistics and designed a questionnaire about the interest of physics. At last, I give the generalization and reflection for the experiment and the problems and the successful experience of using the pattern.
