The traditional pattern bears the long history of Chinese culture and the cultural tradition of one continuous line,which is formed in the long-term accumulation of Chinese characteristic cultural environment.In the Neolithic period,the patterns were natural,harmonious and simple;in the Shang and Zhou dynasties,the patterns of bronzes were mysterious and dignified;in the Warring States,Qin and Han Dynasties,the patterns changed from fine to majestic and tended to be realistic;in the Wei,Jin,southern and Northern Dynasties,the patterns were simple and vigorous;in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,the patterns were gorgeous and beautiful,showing national characteristics in various changes The traditional pattern has experienced a long history of development,it is like a flexible life body in continuous development,change,innovation.Traditional patterns need to be inherited through school education,and the number of cases of traditional culture entering the school classroom is increasing.From the current situation of art teaching,students' cognition and understanding of traditional patterns only stay on the surface,and the results of course teaching are not ideal,which does not reach the living inheritance of traditional patterns.How to carry out the traditional pattern design teaching course better,the author's research needs to explore from the breadth to depth of the traditional pattern design teaching.The unique comprehensiveness of traditional pattern art teaching can enable students to "experience","understand" and "recognize" in the process of practice.In the art teaching activities of pattern design,students' abilities of finding and solving problems and innovative thinking are cultivated.Thematic teaching is carried out from students' body and life to explore the pattern design teaching and teaching suitable for students' comprehensive development Learn to practice,further improve and build pattern teaching design.This study is divided into five parts.The first part mainly discusses the development of patterns.This paper explores the origin,development,category and aesthetic characteristics of traditional patterns from a historical perspective.The second part analyzes the education value,aesthetic education value of traditional patterns and the relationship between pattern design and art education,combing the content of traditional patterns related to compulsory education curriculum standards.The third part analyzes and interprets the lesson examples of the content legends with patterns in different editions of art textbooks,and analyzes the pattern legends,the number and distribution of lesson examples from the quantitative perspective.The fourth part is the teaching practice case analysis,according to the physical and mental characteristics of students and individual differences,to improve the comprehensive quality of students and other aspects of teaching design exploration,to traditional patterns as the core of teaching case design and diversified evaluation strategy.The fifth part is the research summary and Prospect of the traditional pattern design in the art teaching.By expanding the spiritual meaning of the traditional pattern,improving the comprehensive quality of teachers,using the linkage channel between the public education space and school education,carrying forward the traditional spirit,taking the art course as the carrier,improving the students' visual literacy,cultivating the students' overall development,promoting the students' creative materialization and Ability to solve problems.
