Under the contemporary Chinese social operating mechanism, education is always a problem, the western education sociology master Durkheim and Bourdieu Pierre’s educational sociology theory can provide reference for solving this problem. Comparative study of the two educational sociologists of the social science can be used for selection more suitable for the theoretical tool for China’s education development, it also can provide a dialectical perspective to understand and solve the problem of China’s current education problemThe first part introduces the research background, thinking, ideas and research methods, and the Durkheim and Bourdieu educational sociology research status at home and abroad ideological reviewThe second part, introduces the theoretical origin, and gives a sort to Durkheim and Bourdieu working art and living life. Specifically, the formation of Durkheim’s education theory derives from the Enlightenment of the French Enlightenment tradition, Comte’s positivism sociology, Spencer’s social organism theory, social evolution theory. Bourdieu’s theory more to absorb the phenomenon of science, epistemology, Durkheim and Mores and Weber and Marx’s academic thoughts; Durkheim and Bourdieu bring us large amount of education sociology art, Durkheim and Bourdieu provided large amount of effort to the development of Sociology of EducationThe third part compared Durkheim and Bourdieu’s educational thought of Sociology in eight aspects. Durkheim and Bourdieu’s social education theory in common are as follows:(1) ontology, two sociologists hold the same ontology, they in the social studies the process that the essence of education is a social; (2) in the logical starting point, Durkheim and cloth in Bourdieu’s social education theory both from the modernity of be constructed; (3) theoretical purport, education is not only the explaining object of their social education theory. In current stage, the research work of educational sociology still needs to deepen the interpretation of the theory Sociology of education, and to correct the existing research errors; second, deepen the social ontology thinking. Durkheim and Bourdieu held the ontology thought is quite profound, subsequent research still needs to deepen Durkheim and Bourdieu education social learning theory of social ontology theory; third, strengthen Durkheim and Bourdieu education social learning theory of localization development. At the present stage, the work of Bourdieu’s educational sociology thought is not enough, and it needs to be further expanded.
