In the new period, the social development puts forward higher requirements for the quality of people. To adapt to a variety of social changes, the learning style of students must be changed, teaching methods need to update, so there are many new teaching modes in experiment. Research learning is born in the trend of curriculum reform, which is used and thought in the teaching of every subject.But according to the author’s search, the research for research learning is still mostly stay in as a course or a project which needs the coordination of teachers and students, of school, family and social, many students have to spend the extracurricular time, and it’s out of the history class teaching in basic. It is also not suitable for normalization of research learning.In this paper, research learning is also applicable to the junior middle school history learning, the key lies on the localization of research learning concept. In this paper, we focus the concept of research learning on the way of learning, more emphasis on the attempt to change the traditional way of students’ learning, and objective the goals of research learning and history learning in junior middle school closely, emphasize the basic. The research learning is adapt to the goals of the new curriculum reform, is in line with the requirements of human development, is an important way to change the way of students’ learning.Since the research learning is a way of learning, it should be used in the conventional history class, and need to find the normal way to use, so that research learning can help students to change the traditional way of learning really, in the acceptance of learning students can have more research learning, so that the learning ability, learning attitude and personality of students can get attention and development.On the basis of the analysis of the relevant theories of research learning, combining theory with the concrete class practice, this paper considers that the following questions should be paid attention to in the application of research learning in junior middle school history class, pay attention to the basic nature of research learning, which is to learn but not to research, pay attention to the effectiveness of teacher’s guidance and the cultivation of students’ learning ability, pay attention to the effective psychology and behavior participation of students in the implementation of research learning in class, to give encouragement and guidance in the implementation details.At the same time, through practice and reflection, I realize that we need to do a lot of basic work before we make the research learning as a normal way that students learn in history class in the junior middle school, such as to explain the purpose and significance of research learning to students, to guide students to go on research learning and mobilize the students’ interest and motivation to participate in research learning, Teachers also need to go through the continuous attempt and exploration, in the environment of examination system, within the framework of school teaching to achieve the combination of research learning and historical routine teaching,of research learning and exam ability training.
