In the 21 st century, modern civilization has passed one hundred years, the society has achieved rapid changes, scientific level constantly improve, and city area is also increasing at the same time. With the global integration, the construction of urban agglomeration gradually has arisen the attention of world, and become the important strategy of coordinated development among nations and regions. The world economy globalization has changed the competition level among the nations, changing from the original city competition to competition of urban agglomerations. The reason is that the urban agglomeration represents the local comprehensive strength, and it’s the space miniature of economic, political, and cultural environment. Understand the spatial distribution of urban agglomeration can broaden the view of economic development, master urban development trends more effective, build a new spatial layout, and improve the coordination between regions. Construction of urban agglomeration is a kind of inevitable trend, which is beneficial to the development of modernization, the fundamental set of optimal development and also inevitable trend in the international competition. Therefore, to strengthen the research of urban agglomeration spatial structure of our country is of great significance for the development of the whole country. At present, our country has three big urban agglomerations, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is one of them. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, covering the entire Beijing, Tianjin and eleven cities of Hebei province: the provincial capital city Shijiazhuang, resort of Zhangjiakou and Chengde, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao, Cangzhou, Hengshui, Handan and Xingtai as well as Langfang, Baoding which are near Beijing. The whole area accounts for 2.3% of the national land area, owns 7.23% of the total national population.Compared with other two urban agglomerations "pearl river delta" and "long triangle", the development speed and economic status of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration are relatively backward; In addition, under the influence of agglomeration benefits, the development of Beijing, Tianjin are too fast, while surrounding cities develop slow, so there is a huge gap between them. The uncoordinated development pattern is an important factor restricting the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei synergy. And the administrative jurisdiction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration also limits the development of economy, industrial structure similarity, the homogeneity competition, the resources by the uneven flow, lack of cooperation, all of these directly cause serious influence on the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration. The most direct performance is the circulation of production elements, the regional economic development is slow, investment promotion policies tilt serious and so on.The content of this article is divided into five parts. The first chapter is introduction, and detailed introduces the research background, significance, research contents, research methods, innovations, and the research both at home and abroad of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration spatial structure. The second chapter is the theory of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, mainly includes urban agglomeration concept, the connotation of the space structure, development process and pattern of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration spatial structure and spatial interaction theory. The third chapter is the research of the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration spatial structure, mainly including covering area of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, comparative analysis of China’s three largest urban agglomeration, and the problems existing in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration mainly include the differences between economic divisions and administrative divisions, serious homogeneity competition, the convergence of industrial structure, lack of deep industry division of labor and cooperation, economic structure and industry level gaps, serious environmental pollution and lack of initiative. The fourth chapter is analysis of the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration spatial structure model. On the basis of predecessors’ research analysis, and combine with the actual situation of local urban construction, from the seven indicators areas(economy, industrial structure, industrial level, science and technology education level, environment level, international competitiveness and population size) selected eleven indicators, using SPSS principal component analysis construct the index system of "city quality". Choose the time spent between the two cities of the railway and highway, and both of the means of transportation to transport volume weight to build index system of "economic distance", through the introduction of the two index system, further correct the gravity model, and make the demonstration analysis on the spatial structure of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, then put forward dilute the administrative area and build node area and spatial structure. The fifth chapter is policy suggestion. This paper puts forward six suggestions to promote the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration coordinated. The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the paper, mainly including the results of empirical analysis, shortage and outlook.
