Globalization of economy, internationalization of and borderless of competition makes the communication between our country and the world is becoming frequent. If we want to participate in it, we have to master the international language—English. Our society has realized that the international competitiveness of our nation greatly depends on the quantity of bilingual talent who is proficient at Chinese and Chinese culture, and also master of foreign languages and foreign cultures. Therefore, bilingual teaching has become one of the hotspots of our education reform. Physics is a natural science based on observation and experiment, logicality and objectivity is the most obvious characteristic of it. It is unlikely to be influenced by the language of instruction, so it suits to carry out bilingual teaching.There are seven parts in this thesis, the first part introduces the background, meaning and research situation at home and abroad of this article, the second part expounds related concepts and theories, the third part analyzes the factors that may influence the bilingual teaching of physics in high school, the fourth part put forward the method to assess the of physics bilingual teaching in high school, points out the assessment index of the factors and sets relevant questionnaire, the fifth part is a case study used to research the feasibility of physics bilingual teaching in Xiangcheng high school, and then utilizes a teaching example to verify the feasibility of physics bilingual education in Xiangcheng high school, finally, the last part makes a summary and presents some suggestions on the basis of the teaching example.According to the presented method in this thesis to verify the feasibility of physics bilingual education in Xiangcheng high school, it is suggested to carry out bilingual teaching roundly on the basis of the pilot project in a few classes. Bilingual teaching and Chinese language education are respectively carried out in two similar classes in Xiangcheng high school, then let all the students of this two classes to participate in a physics chapter test and an English staged test after the study of a chapter, the results show that bilingual teaching can improve the level of physics as a whole, as well as promoting the ability of learning English。So the assessment result of the feasibility of physics bilingual teaching in Xiangcheng high school is receivable, the assessment method used in this thesis is feasible.
