The model of bilingual education in China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is:except for language courses which are conducted with bilingual education,other subjects are completely educated in Mongolian.The existing model of education has to some degree impacted Mongolian students' study of chemistry after entering in colleges and universities and the academic exchange with China's nationalities.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out Mongolian-Chinese bilingual teaching in chemistry subject in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.This article has launched teaching experiment to research the influence of education language on Mongolian students' chemistry learning through investigating domestic and overseas researches on bilingual education and the condition of Mongolian high school students' chemistry study in Inner Mongolia so as to provide substantial evidence and related suggestions for implementing Mongolian-Chinese bilingual teaching in chemistry subject in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.This article's research object is the senior one students who receive Mongolian language education in Baotou Mongol Nationality High School in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.Then carry out one-week teaching experiment with the class of "Redox reaction" as teaching contents,and comprehensively apply the methods of literature review,classroom observation,questionnaire,and experimentation to make synthetic evaluation on the research results from aspects of Mongolian students' mastery degree of elementary knowledge and skills,students' ability to utilize and combine science and technology with social life,teacher-student communication in class,and student-student classroom experience of bilingual education.Then the article respectively discusses the influence of Mongolian language,Chinese language and Mongolian-Chinese bilingual teaching on Mongolian students' chemistry study and finds that so far the teaching effect of Mongolian language teaching is better than the teaching effect of both Chinese language and Mongolian-Chinese bilingual teaching.Compared with two models of bilingual teaching:the efficiency of Mongolian-Chinese bilingual teaching is better than Chinese language teaching.The first part of the article proposes questions and summarizes the research status of minorities'bilingual education in China and foreign countries.The second part provides a theoretical foundation for the article's research.The third part introduces research design.The fourth part presents the research result.The fifth part of the article makes analysis and discussion on the research result and proposes suggestions on carrying out Mongolian-Chinese bilingual education for Mongolian high school students.
