Analyze On The Competitiveness Of Cheerleading In Hunan Colleges And Universities

Competitiveness is an important sign of measuring sport event development in a society. It is measured according to the competitive ability showed by players and the exerting degree in games. The competitiveness of cheer leading indicates its popularization in China. As the first carrier, colleges and universities’ competitiveness manifests our integral level directly. Based on this point, this study researched from the competitiveness of cheer leading in Hunan colleges and universities, aiming at exploring the way to improve competitiveness of cheer leading in Hunan colleges and universities, and offer some reference to the improvement of that in China at the same time.This study mainly adopted method of documentary, video observation analysis, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey and logical analysis. Taking the tenth Hunan colleges students’ cheer leading competition as an example, this study analyzed the competitiveness and its influential factors of cheer leading in Hunan colleges anduniversities and put forward some according strategies. Main view points are as follow:Hunan province college aerobics dance cheerleading group is higher than the overall level of competitive University College Group and the group of Higher Vocational colleges. Completed, artistic arrangement, teamwork, and other aspects of a complete set of movements, the university group each team showed obvious advantages, their grasp of technology and project style is relatively good, and the overall competitive level of the higher vocational college relative existence certain disparity. In addition, with the national dance cheerleading gymnastics athletics level compared to Hunan Normal University Cheerleading gymnastics the competitive level of the teams in the national rankings also rely on before.The factors affect the competitiveness of cheer leading in Hunan colleges and universities are both internal and external. Internal factors mainly indicate competitiveness owned by cheer leading itself, including physical agility, motor stereotype, bodily functions, tactical capability, mental ability and so on. External factors principally mean the external conditions that affect the competitiveness of cheer leading objectively, including coach’s professional skills, training security system.The strategy to improve the competitiveness of cheer leading in Hunan colleges and universities contains four main aspects. We seek for breakthrough from enhancing our own competitiveness by strengthening training on physical agility, motor stereotype and art showing ability. Next, competitiveness can be raised through improving external conditions like cultivating coaches and professionalizing their skills. Then, innovation in training methods and means is believed to be of great help. In that case, a scientific and systematic training system is necessarily being formed. Last but not least, attach importance to team construction and improve sense of community. I believe that we can realize the vigorous development through combining and acting on all these ways.For the moment, there are several important initiatives to improve competitiveness of cheer leading in Hunan colleges and universities. First, train high-quality cheer leading teams, improving the effectiveness of training. Second, raise the professional skills and scientific research level of cheer leading coaches. Third, increase the investment on both software and hardware facilities.
