In recent years, China’s preschool education has been developed vigorously, but in the process of rapid development, there are many problems, especially the problem of preschool teachers. The preschool teachers are directly related to the quality of preschool education, and establishing an excellent preschool teacher team is an important issue of the preschool teachers’ career. The growing experience of a teacher is a complicated and dynamic process, which is affected by many factors. If you want to be a good preschool teacher, there are a lot of support factors, including internal factors and many external factors. Through the investigation and study of existing excellent preschool teachers, and the analysis of the reasons, can enrich the theory of preschool teachers’ growth, can set a good example to the ordinary preschool teachers. It can improve the overall quality of the preschool teachers, promote the development of preschool education.This study is a case study of an excellent preschool teacher—Miss F who works in Guangyuan, Sichuan province. The interview and literature study are used in this study. Through interviewing Miss F, and her colleagues, family members and the analyses of the data of Miss F’s teaching plans, honorary certificate, research results etc. to show the real growth process.Guangyuan is located in the mountain areas, the economic development is lagging behind, the development of education is backward. So, the growth process of an excellent preschool teacher is a benchmarking of other local ordinary teachers.Based on the two turning-point events, Miss F’s growth process can be divided into three stages: Novice teachers stage, Qualified teachers stage, Excellent teachers stage. And then the writer stated the details of Miss F’s growth process, analyzed the factors of how to become an excellent teacher. There two factors, one is internal factors, it refers to the individuality and personality charm, learning quality and self-realization; the other is external factors, mainly refers to support the family, peer relationship, important person, social support and material conditions.Then, according to the analysis, the writer summarized some good personality traits that an excellent teacher should have.Finally, the writer think that the Normal School can provide basic guarantee to the growth process of excellent teachers. Such as to strict the recruit students, to pay attention to train students’ good personality traits, to build the evaluation system of graduates, etc. For the in-service preschool teachers, the writer also points out several strategies to ensure excellent preschool teachers’ growth.
