Nowadays, knowledge becomes the most main strength to dominate our society increasingly, the reform in education system is to comprehensively promote, and the whole nation attaches great importance to education. In such a background of times, we locked eyes on the significant topic — "The educational value of knowledge classification ". On the one hand, the teaching forefront showed a huge demand for the guidance of educational value theory of knowledge classification because of the need of practice. On the other hand, the current education theory lacked of systematic and holistic about this aspect. Two aspects of demand are made as soon as possible to make the system theory research deeply on it. This theoretical research has the necessity very much. "What does knowledge classification refers to? What types does knowledge classification has? What kinds of value and application does knowledge classification have? In particular, what values of school education does knowledge classification has?" and so on, All such problems emerge. These issues urgently need theoretical explanation.Knowledge classification is a kind of activities, in which people had the same characteristic knowledge sets merge into classes for a certain purpose or need, according to certain principles and methods, in accordance with the standards of different ways. It is essentially a kind of processing solution of knowledge processing optimization. Different types of knowledge classification system is proposed based on different methods. Knowledge classification has the value in promoting knowledge organized, systematic and orderly. It helps to improve knowledge about relationships and understanding of law. It helps the system management, application and innovation of knowledge resources. Therefore, it has a wide application. It is the knowledge chain (ecological) is important one annulus, plays an important role in the knowledge of the operation. At the same time, as an important practice activity of a human survival or life, knowledge classification had a long, abundant history in the East and the west. Ancient sages put forward diverse knowledge classification scheme.Based on natural and close relationship between knowledge and education, knowledge classification had been widely and deeply used in teaching of school education, as a basic understanding of the achievements and recognition method. School education is almost based on knowledge classification or subject to the influence of knowledge classification from the school curriculum goal, structure, content, implementation of school teaching concept, evaluation, and then to the students’ learning, development. It reflects the importance value on the function of school education such as the curriculum, teaching division, discipline construction and the Library Classification etc,. This value includes not only the positive educational value, including the zero educational value, also includes the negative educational value.The positive educational value of knowledge classification is embodied in the curriculum, teaching and students’ development in three respects. First of all, It is an important basis and theoretical standard curriculum goal design, structural design, content construction. It restricts the curriculum structure, curriculum presentation of knowledge classification. It helps the curriculum goal system, reasonable construction of curriculum type diversification, the scientific selection of curriculum knowledge. Secondly, It can provide the basis for teaching the concept of change can contribute to the formation of the concept of teachers. It helps to improve the teaching design of science, maneuverability. It helps to improve the efficiency and quality of implementation of teaching, to improve the scientific level of teaching evaluation. Finally, It can improve the students’ learning of a rational and effective. It helps students "loop line" development.The zero educational value of knowledge classification for the performance:The current school education set up branch curriculum and teaching Division on the basis of a knowledge classification scheme for the leading scheme in a long term. This situation have already made the knowledge of other classification schemes be not effectively used, and this situation have leaded to the effectiveness of a value, affect the maximum multiple knowledge classification of educational value. The negative educational value of knowledge classification for the performance: Application of knowledge classification in school education widespread criticism for knowledge was dismembered, inflexibility leads to many defects and problems. But the comprehensive knowledge effectively offset, offset this negative value. The classification and synthesis can interact, complement each other to produce a satisfactory effect.
