| In the secondary health vocational school, music education plays a very important role in promoting students’ comprehensive quality. It is an absolutely necessary content in the education of the secondary health vocational school.As an important part of aesthetic education, music education has a great effect on cultivating students’ noble sentiments and improving their quality.Nowadays, the development of education in different parts in our country is not balanced, while this difference is much greater in developing music education among the secondary health vocational schools. At the same time, compared with that of the domestic and foreign basic, professional music education, the research of the secondary vocational school music education starts late, and is backward in every aspect.Jiaodong Area in Shandong Province is relatively developed in economy, politics, culture, as well as in the secondary health vocational education which has a long history and a good realistic foundation. In order to enable the music education in secondary health vocational school in Jiaodong area to develop better, the researcher has made an investigation into the present situation of the music teaching in 5 secondary health vocational schools of this area, adopting such activities as questionnaires and interviews,which includes the following aspects,as curriculum, facilities, faculty and art activities.Through the analyzing the results of the survey and research, the researcher has summed up the problems in the music teaching in Jiaodong, analyzed these problems,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.(1) Pay attention to the positioning of the music teaching and change the dispensable situation of music discipline;(2) Increase music teaching facilities and improve the music teaching.
