With the continuous development of information technology 、multimedia technology and network technology,we have entered an information era. Education normalization is not only an inevitable trend, but also a long-term system project needing large amount of money and focusing on efficiency.In recent years,Xinjin County of Chengdu City put a huge amount of money on the construction of education informatization,but did not see obvious effect. As teachers are decisive factor of education normalization efficiency, in order to improve efficiency of the education informatization,we must pay more attention to the cultivation of the teachers’ information literacy.Through the specific case of M secondary school in Xinjin County, this research collects data on current condition of teachers’ information literacy in M secondary school in ways of questionnaire and individual interview,then the problems and causes were analyzed. According to the problems and causes, the research puts forward the strategy of improving the teachers’ information literacy in M secondary school.It includes:(1) Improve the awareness of information literacy;(2) Strengthen teachers’ own learning ability to improve the application of information technology;(3)Try to be a teaching resource constructor based on the actual condition of school;(4) Learn to manage time in a scientific way;(5) Try to be the master of information technology teaching team. In the research, the literature analysis method is used to analyze and summarize the research results of the information literacy of secondary school teachers in domestic and abroad. In the research of literature, many scholars put forward their own views on macroscopical aspects of policy,capital investment, information literacy standards, teachers pre-service training, teachers in-service training etc. to improve teachers’ information literacy, ignoring teachers themselves effects. Many insights are for reference only and not operable. This research comes from the actual demand and practice of the teachers’ information literacy improvement in M secondary school,its result not only can be directly applied to the practice of improving teachers’ information literacy in other secondary schools in Xinjin county, but also can provide reference for secondary schools in other similar areas.
