Since entering in twenty-first Century, the national urban and rural primary schools gradually opened English courses. However, the attention, understanding and thinking mode of the low age children is different from the high age students, so the English teaching methods in lower Grades is facing a great challenge. Therefore, most English teachers try to introduce the game teaching method to the English class, trying to stimulate and cultivate the students’ interest in learning English, and establish confidence.This research is beased on research method, with a section of Shuangliu primary school students as the research object, through the investigation,observation and questionnaire of teachers and students in the classroom, after-school interviews, a comprehensive understanding of the application status of guessing game in English Teaching of lower grades in primary school. Reserch onwhen to use guessing game, the operation process and characteristics of games, games of speculation in the regulation of the class, the students’ attention in classroom, incentive participation in English classroom, improve English memory and students’ effectiveunderstanding, increase opportunities for exchange and so on, and analysis of problems of the game in the primary school English teaching, and puts forward the suggestions, provide the theoretical basis for the game teaching in English teaching and further promote the reasonable application.This research is to introduce the game to the primary school English class, guide the students to use the game to help improve students’ learning ability and interest, enrich the teaching of English in primary schools to provide a theoretical basis. This study is divided into four parts: the first part is introduction, expounds the research purpose, method and significance of this thesis; the second part is a progress of the study at home and abroad, analyzes the earlier game teaching and guessing games in primary school English education in the application of; the third part is the teaching case analysis, to English Teaching in a primary school in Shuangliu object. Research is forecasted application of games in teaching practice; the fourth part to improve the strategy, in view of the existing problems and proposed different improved methods.
