Tennis is a competitive sports which requires sophisticated technology. Wit 1 the development of society, the tennis is expanding constantly, the school ed ucation also provides the chance and window for the tennis sport, which also promote and guide for tennis development, especially tennis teaching in univers ties. With the continuous development of modern tennis sport, the gap of tech nique among the athletes of the same level is narrowing down. Most experts, ennis coaches and athletes agreed that individual psychological factors affect th e performance of athletes in the contest. And the self-efficiency is one of the mportant factors. The theory of self-efficiency, refers to the self judgment whi ch the individual perform a behavior of in what level they can perform the a ctivities of the faith before operation, grasping and feel self judgment. It is n ot only associated with the knowledge and skills which needed for a person. S elf-efficiency theory has been found to be very important in the teaching of co lege students tennis, it can also cultivate students’efficiency, and has a positiv e impact for them cultivate the motivation of learning tennis.In order to gain more specific theory and conclusion of the influenced fun ction about the self-efficiency in college tennis teaching. The essay mainly use s the methods of literature, questionnaire survey, experimental method, mathema ical statistics, and expert interview, investigates and analyses the relevant relati onship between self-efficiency and tennis teaching among students in four univ ersities in shaanxi. Based on the analysis, the study shows us the following m ain conclusions:First, the self-efficiency among boys in college students about learning ten nis learning is higher than girls;Second, the self-efficiency among senior students is higher than the junior tudents about tennis teaching in universities; Third, the self-efficiency among non-sports major students is higher than the ordinary professional universities students in the tennis learning;Fourth, the general self-efficiency are closely relative with the self-efficienc y about tennis learning in universities among students;Fifth, academic environment has a direct influence about the self-efficiency for students tennis learning in universities;...
