The course of Marxist Theory and the course of Ideology & Morality(Two Courses for short)held in institutions of higher education are the major channel through which to systematically educate the college students in ideology, and they play an important role in training builders and successors of socialist modernization. Since the 13th the Fourth Plenary Session Of the Party Central Committee of the party, university Two Courses teaching obtain heavy score very, playing an important role in university's stability and ideological and political education. But be fully aware , enter new century , the domestic and international situation changed deeply, Two Courses teaching at the Higher Institutions can't at all meet the needs of new changing situation yet, the invalid phenomenon of Two Courses teaching is conspicuous day by day. At present , strengthen Two Courses teaching effective issue at the Higher Institutions , cause ideology and politics extensive concern , education theory of circle not merely, the leading collective of new generation of the party taking Hu Jintao as the core extremely cares about and pays attention to this too. A study on this issue not only enriches the theoretical system of Ideological and Moral Education, but also plays important role in conducting the teaching of Two Courses.The dissertation consists of the following three chapters:Chapter One states the significance of Two Courses Teaching at the Higher Institutions. This chapter focuses on the significant effects of Two Courses in the evoluting of Ideological and Political Education, fully promoting the quality education, carring out the principles of Chinese Communist Party in education.Chapter Two analyses the deficiency and its causes existing in Two Courses at the Higher Institutions. Based on the principle of making a concrete analysis of concrete conditions, current teaching situations in Two Courses are analyzed properly. Focus is on the analysis of deficiency and its causes in current Two Courses. And these analyses serve as the foundation the measures in Chapter Three.Chapter Three is a key part of this dissertation, which proposes the strategies for promoting the efficiency in Two Courses at the Higher Institutions. In theory at first, I have proved the theoretical foundation of strengthening the teaching substantial results of Two Courses. First , follow the basic law of Two Courses teaching, including university student morality form and law that develop, Two Courses teaching from theoretical system to teaching law that system transformed ; Second ,adhere to the general principle of Two Courses teaching, including directionality principle, the principle that people first, level principle, effective principle. In practice , I put forward strengthen Two Courses teaching effective measure substantial results should take secondly. Innovate educational idea , realize Two Courses in the center subject of teaching change by teacher to students, strengthen discipline construction , course construction , teaching material construction in a more cost-effective manner, perfect the content of courses , innovative teaching method and means, set up a steady , high-quality teaching team , strengthen leadership , set up high-efficient teaching management system ,etc, this is a feasible measure that strengthen Two Courses teaching substantial results for support of theory to make.
