To cope with the current severe situation that the review of chemistry has tight time, miscellaneous knowledge and heavy task; to realize the sustainable development of students and their subject of chemistry as well as the requirement of new chemistry curriculum standards on current high school students, that is, “plan, reflect, evaluate and regulate their own learning process of chemistry, improve the ability to learn chemistry independently”, this paper strives to gradually permeate the cultivation of ability of reflective study of students through the teaching in normal times in order to make the students cultivate the learning habit of daring to question, having courage to explore and having timed reflection and finally reach the objective of “learn how to study”.In order to combine the subject with actual status of students better and formulate the strategy of reflective study of students of senior year with more target, the author draws up the “questionnaire on reflective learning ability of chemistry of high school” through looking up the related literature on reflective learning at home and abroad with the combination of his own teaching experience. It investigates and analyzes the status of reflective learning from the aspects of reflective consciousness, reflective habits and reflective skills and it is found that the reflective learning ability of students at present is insufficient which needs to be improved urgently. Meanwhile, the author concludes four categories of students through natural observation and personal interview with the combination of results of questionnaire and analyzes some factors that influence the interview of senior year from the aspects of internal cause and external cause. Combined with the analysis of investigation, it formulates the strategy of reflective learning and adopts different reflective learning strategy according to different individuals and different teaching contents in order to realize the comprehensive improvement of reflective learning ability.According to the status of students and teaching, this paper defines four contents of reflective learning which are reflective learning attitude, mastering of reflective knowledge, reflective learning method and reflective learning effect; determines and practices four strategies of reflective learning which are the strategy to inspire the reflective consciousness, strategy to create the reflective atmosphere, strategy to cultivate the reflective habit and strategy to improve the reflective skills. Based on that, it gradually cultivates the students to form the reflective learning habit – “learning, reflection, generalization, correction and re-reflection”. Through the practice of reflective training of ten-month with objectives and plans, it is found that the reflective learning ability, learning enthusiasm and learning initiative of students have been improved. Moreover, their abilities to discover problems, solve problems and apply the learnt knowledge have also been advanced. Besides, some experience and conclusions during the research process also provide some useful reference to improve the learning efficiency of students in the future teaching and study of chemistry.
