Education is a progress of cultivation; the core of education is curriculum. The thinking and idea of education need to be expressed by specific courses; in other words, the education’s cultivation function was realized by course. Therefore, curriculum is the core elements of education development and reform, the rationality of the course content, the reasonable course content, scientific course systems, and the effectiveness of course implementation directly determined the schooling education quality and results. With the development of globalization, the diversity of cultural as well as the innovation of talents, there is an urge need for China to seek for a way to reform. The key point of education reform is the change in school education. Characteristic course construction conforms to the requirement of modern talent cultivation ideas on curriculum, the implementation of the "three-level curriculum management model" and country broke the course set by the national unity, strict planning pattern, for school establishment conforms to the regional characteristics and local characteristics of various kinds of curriculum provides a platform for innovation. The ministry of education about "sports, art 2 + 1" the implementation of the project curriculum development laid a solid foundation for the sports characteristics."Enhanced features, creating brand" is the of FangGuYuan elementary school at this stage, under the instruction of seeking the wide range from the stuble follow the school development goals, to explore the characteristics of school courses are the main problems that school teacher often considered. Ballroom dance as a new leisure class sports art, fashion, recreational , entertainment at an organic whole, sculptural form, standardize behavior, enhance self-cultivation, promote health, such as effectiveness, the characteristics of project meet FangGuYuan elementary school "intensifying features, creating brand" development. Ballroom dance characteristic can rich campus life; promote the growth of students, the most simple way to create a rich inner world. It can not only improve the students’ aesthetic temperament and interest, and improve the students’ ideological and moral qualities, scientific and cultural quality, physical and mental health quality and comprehensive quality, and improve students’ interest in learning has profound significance, also very accord with quality education on the premise of demand for the development of students.This paper uses literature review, investigation, case study, conduct research, the FangGuYuan elementary school courses in Ballroom dance characteristic should follow the principle, and the curriculum design process, curriculum design, and curriculum implementation and effect evaluation are studied, such as the main research results as follows:(1) The Beijing FengTai FangGuYuan elementary school ballroom dance characteristic course design should be in the "target model" curriculum design process, based on the requirements and meet the demand of social development, students’ growth to satisfy the demand of the subject development for the diversification of curriculum.(2) in the FangGuYuan elementary school idea, the school area based on the analysis of the characteristics, the school actual situation, through the expert panel and expert interview method to design the characteristics of ballroom dance curriculum plan, including the guiding ideology, curriculum setting, curriculum goal, curriculum content, curriculum evaluation, and through actions and correction method for curriculum design practice.(3) through the action research on curriculum implementation step by step, step by step to solve and determine the process of curriculum implementation, teachers, students, teaching content distribution of class hours, guarantee conditions, learning evaluation, and many other elements required.(4) the attitude of learning from students, parents, school teachers development, sports competition performance, social recognition, sensors and actuators, school leaders attitude is intended to explore the effect of ballroom dance characteristic course, think ballroom dance course in FangGuYuan elementary school already have certain popularity, get the students, parents, teachers, leaders and social recognition, have become FangGuYuan school characteristic curriculum, curriculum design and implementation of obtained the certain effect.(5) Suggestions in the future practice is to better improve the FangGuYuan elementary school ballroom dance characteristic curriculum plan, make it more scientific, systematic and effect.
