Research On Violent Crime Of Juvenile Crime

Since the Fourth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Central Committee, our country has begun to take the development policy of opening-up while the society is in the sharp transition period. As a result of that, Minor crime has been the hot topic in the whole society, which is a serious social problem, and the crime rate is growing up every year. Minor crime has been listed another great harm, following drug trafficking and environmental pollution, therefore most of countries take the offensive on that.The reason why minor crime is receiving so much attention is that quite a considerable number of their criminal activities cause irreparable damage to society, and that adolescence is in the key period in life because of its guiding effect. Youngsters are in the development of both physiology and mentality, which could lead to mistaken outlook on life and values and suffer from bad condition on the way of growing up. Thus the research to minors’violent crimes has a significant influence on crime prevention.The teenagers" violent crime has the characteristics of low age, target particularity, ganging up in a crime and crime type diversity. Combined with the condition of Jiangxi province, minor crime has four distinct features. Firstly, the number of cases keeps increasing. Secondly, the type of it is mainly about violence and property, most of that is fellowship in crime. Thirdly, it is a growing trend that the age of the subject of crime is getting lower. Fourthly, the number of young crime is increasing. The main reasons those juveniles commit a crime lie in themselves, such as the change in their development of physiology and mentality. The lack of family education, wrong schooling, negative influence from society and judicial system also lead them to a crime way. It is the product of themselves, home environment, schooling and social environment.It is a systemic and social work that prevents the young from crime. According to the social prevention, first of all, a healthy social environment should be created. Then community prevention of minor violent crime should be improved, for example, building an institution to work, introducing specialized social work service, making a perfect social service and psychological rescue institution. Concerning the legal prevention, first of that, criminal trial system of teenagers should be improved, with policy of minor crime oriented. Secondly, criminal record of teenagers should be locked, and the range of that should extended properly. Thirdly, erasing of misdemeanors of teenagers should be put into trial use, which sentence declared may be three years or less, and that helps them astray lead to the normal way. Fourthly, the system of information tracking after trial should be established. On family prevention, parents should make their education follow the trend of the times, universal and guarantee the education method scientific. On school prevention, schools should pay more attention to the teenagers’ education of comprehensive and legal system, and can’t ignore the professional quality of teachers in order to make it function as a real place of education to the fullest. We believe, the problems of minor violent crime will be improved greatly with the effort of the whole society, as a result, our country and society will have considerable development.
