Empirical Study On Male Juvenile Violent Crime

The juveniles are the future and hope of the country, whether their healthy growth are related to the prosperity of the nation.However,with the rapid growth of economy and the increasing growth of social transformation, juvenile criminality has been listed as one of the world’s three major hazards. In recent years,it has drawn the extensive attention of the public for its high rate,large proportion,increasing speed and the rate of re-committing crime of the juvenile is rising day by day.In mostly cases of violent crime,juveniles as a special group not only are compliance with the general violent crime, but also has its particularity. In such cases,the characteristic of criminal maturity means,the extremely serious consequences of social harm,younger age and disregard for life make us distraught.This essay attempts to find the linkage and influence between juvenile criminality and present economic and social situation, through the questionnaire of minors in custody in JiangXi juvenile offender correctional institution. According to the current tendency of the male juvenile violent crime in our province,the essay try to overlap and interact with the theoretical and methodological of law, sociology, psychology and other related disciplines.And then we can make a depth and detailed research of juvenile criminality. The structure of this thesis can be divided into four parts :The first part is a brief introduction on the background, and then the objective and significance of the study.On the basis of summing up the relevant studies at home and abroad, this article try to clarify and define the concept of juveniles violent crime.At last,it is proposed to solve the main problem and expected results;The second part have introduced the sample of the study, while focusing on the status, the characteristics and problems of male juveniles violent crime;The third part aims at the causes of male juveniles violent crime, by analyzing the individual ’s personality characteristics and summarizing in subjective terms. At the same time the analysis of the major types of violent crime, using the data processing research can we promote the implementation of such a crime related to objective factors and their validity.The fourth part clearly puts forward the prevention path of male juveniles violent crime on the basis of the previous text.Furthermore,it provides some reasonable suggestions on the strategies for preventing and controlling male juveniles violent crime,by studying the influence of family environment,the effectiveness of school education and persuasion, the prevention of the negative effective on social environment and public opinion, the protection and educational of the national legal system for juveniles and so on.
