In junior middle school math teaching, one of the main purposes of math teaching in class is to develop the students’ thinking in math, improve their application of math knowledge, and comprehensive ability of solving problems. Under the background of new course revolution, due to the varieties of teaching books, key period of growing up of students and various sources of students, how to exert the students positive attitude to study and how to help them to master math knowledge and skills and how to develop the math attainment are the prime problems for each math teacher.In this thesis, based on the example of the Experimental Middle School of Jingxing Mine Lot in Shijiazhuang, with the application of document, observation, examples and experiments, analyzing and reflecting the problems of cooperative learning in math teaching in class, the author introduces and summarizes the theory and practice of the this mode of teaching.This thesis can be divided into six parts.Introduction: The author introduces the reason and purpose of choosing the topic, analyses documents, and defines the main concept.Chapter I: The author analyzes the characters of math based on the basic requirement of New Courses and different ways of edition and expounds the development of students’ way of thinking based on the general requirement of New Course and cultivation of their thinking with the math learning.Chapter II: The author discusses the value and advantages of Cooperative learning in math teaching separately.Chapter III: The author does practical research in the Experimental Middle School of Jingxing Mine Lot in Shijiazhuang, which has drawn the attention of the board of school. The author gives some specific suggestions in improving the efficiency of Cooperative learning in math teaching.Chapter IV: The author analyses the mode of Cooperative learning with the help of the cooperative ways, design of questions, the students’ participation, the relationship between cooperation and individualism and the teachers’ regulation and control.Chapter V: The author puts forward the basic strategy of improving the efficiency of Cooperative learning in class from the renewal of teaching idea, the harmonious teacher-student relationship, the teacher’s role in class, the formation of cooperative team, and the teachers’ regulation and control and evaluation.Conclusion: The author summarizes the experiment, points out the disadvantages and looks forward to it’s bright future.
