Recently with the advancement of new curriculum reform in our country, people begin to try to change the traditional teaching ways in which the studentslearnpassivelythrough the teachers one-way output. Besides, they advocates to return the classroom to students and make the students explore independently, cooperate and communicate in practice. Therefore, it is apparently that the status of the cooperative learning in groups becomesmore and more important.The researchers have given high evaluation on the cooperative learning in groups. For example, the American educator Jack Booth once pointed out: "The cooperative learning in groups is the most effective principle and way to help the students work hard together." Numerous studies have also shown that students in cooperative communication can cultivate social adaptabilitywhich is benefit to the formation of their subjective consciousness and the understanding of knowledge. Therefore,based on the junior middle school’sphysical experimental teaching, the author try to explore how to bringthe cooperative learning into the physical teaching in order to make the whole class become more vigorous and active.After the relevant literature review and combined with the teaching practice, this study analyzes some problems existing in the current juniormiddle school’s physical experimental teaching. Besides,according to the domestic and foreign relevant dynamicresearch, it also demonstrates the importance ofthe cooperative learning in groups. Then this study briefly describes the definition of the typical cooperative learning theory both at home and abroad and analyzesits basic elements. And it alsodiscusses its important theoretical basiswhich starts from the rootin philosophy, sociology and psychology.According to the current compulsory education in the physical new curriculum standard for the requirement of "scientific inquiry",it makes clear the role of teacher in classroom and formulates the operational processof cooperative learning theory in junior middle school’s physical experimental teaching. And then it puts forward the specific operational methods in the scientific group, the reasonable division of labor, the showing of results and the evaluation mechanism, and try to use themto guide the physical teaching practice.Finally,this paper discusses the appropriate experimental types of cooperative learning in groupsthrough the study of the physical experiments set in the teaching material of the junior middle school, and selects the representative subjects based onthe operational processto carry out the classroom teaching practice.Through the reflection and comprehension of the process of teaching practice, it proves the feasibility of the implementation steps and the effectiveness of the teaching methods.It also summarizesthe positive effects of the cooperative learning theory to the students’ and teachers’ development.
