Whether teacher-student relationship is harmonious will not only have an effect on the progressing degree and quality of teaching, particularly that of the Xinjiang department of inland senior high school, but also has much to do with ethnic solidarity. The aim of this research is to find out the problems existing in the present teacher-student relationship, and find out the strategies after analysis, experiment and so on. During this research, I adopt the methods of document analysis, questionnaire and experimenting, and analyze the existing problems to find out the solutions.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part is an introduction. This part states the background, aim and meaning of conducting a research into harmonious teacher-student relationship in the teaching of Xinjiang department. The second part summarizes some problems existing in the current teacher-student relationship in the teaching of Xinjiang department, and find out the strategies by analyzing statistics. The third part analyzes the importance and possibility of constructing a harmonious teacher-student relationship in the teaching of Xinjiang department. The fourth and fifth parts respectively explains theoretical evidence and basic principles of constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship in the teaching of Xinjiang department. The six part states the practical strategies of constructing the harmonious teacher-student relationship in the teaching of Xinjiang department of our school.Through this research, I know much about the existing problems in Xinjiang department of our school, and also know about the strategies accordingly. Meanwhile, I have published papers about this topic, have developed relative lectures, and have also summarized relative investigation report after doing a questionnaire survey. Through the research, I deeply realize that the teacher’s emotional commitment is really important in constructing teacher-student relationship, teachers’ care for students, so is mutual respect between the teachers and students.
