Research On The Current Situation Of Xinjiang University Students' National Unity Education

As a key part of ideological education,the content of national unity education in colleges and universities is extremely rich,its focal point is to make the university students understand the Marxist national theory and the party's national policy clearly,understand the evil intentions and serious consequences of the separatist forces destroying the national unity,recognize our country is the national condition of the multi-ethnic unification country,agree with the history and culture of the motherland and recognize the leadership of the party and the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,in the meantime,understand profoundly the significance of national unity and ethnic unity for every Chinese citizen.This study selected three universities in Xinjiang,including comprehensive colleges,normal colleges and medical colleges and universities of each one.About 610 questionnaires were distributed,and 600 were recovered.The questionnaire investigates the cognitive status,emotion of belonging and identity behavior of ethnic groups in Xinjiang from the aspects of state form,national history,national culture,national policy,so as to study the status quo of Xinjiang university students' national unity education.Firstly,according to the data of the questionnaire,this paper analyzes the positive effects of the national Unity Education on the cognition,emotion and behavior of Xinjiang university students.Secondly,this article analyzes the existing deficiencies in the education of national unity.At the cognitive level,theuniversity students' policy understanding is still to be improved,the emotional level of national identity also needs to be improved.And the behavior of some college students are still affected by extreme thoughts;Thirdly,the study makes an intensive study of the causes of the problems which exist in National unity education of college students in Xinjiang,including the education mode of national unity,which needs to bring forth new ideas,the destruction of hostile forces still exists,the estrangement between nationalities still needs to be bridged,and the extreme infiltration of modern media is difficult to contain.Finally,for the specific problems,combined with the situation of Xinjiang and national conditions,From the aspect of education content and methods,this paper puts forward concrete suggestions for the national unity education of Xinjiang university students,for the purpose of providing some reference for the future study of universities students' national unity education in Xinjiang.
