In the new curriculum standards, junior middle school mathematics curriculum goal is divided into four aspects: knowledge and skills, mathematical thinking, problem solving, emotional attitude. In each specific aspects of all emphasize the importance of teachers in the teaching process establishment situation, in order to make students grasp the social life and further develop the necessary mathematics basic knowledge and basic skills, cultivate students’ innovative consciousness and ability to apply, promote the comprehensive sustainable development of the students, situational teaching model is the teaching way of the new curriculum reform should be promoted. This model has broken the traditional education is to teach boring knowledge while neglecting the students’ emotional attitude and ability, help students in mathematics classroom experience mathematics basic thoughts and ways of thinking, formed the rigorous scientific attitude.In this article, through three aspects to study the junior middle school mathematics situation creation: first, creating situation research background and significance, basic situation of situational teaching and research at home and abroad; Secondly, through the analysis of the characteristics of the junior middle school students in the junior middle school mathematics teaching situation creation should follow the principles and the role of, and introduces the lesson each teaching situation creation, through the case study shows how situation teaching; Finally, discusses the way of creating situation, such as through the students’ experimental operation, introduction to mathematical history and mathematics, set the suspense, the actual production and life, students play the game, by analogy, as well as between mathematics and other subjects, such as multimedia.In junior middle school mathematics, situational teaching mode has extremely important position and role. If the situation can be very good to create every link in the junior middle school mathematics curriculum is helpful to cultivate the students’ interest in learning, stimulate students’ exploration spirit and innovation ability.
